For several consecutive years, the Firm's Insolvency Department has been ranked by professional ratings with the highest possible rating. Adv. Ronen Matry, who heads the Department, is considered one of Israel's most appreciated attorneys in this field and the Department is involved in a substantial part of the major insolvency proceedings conducted in Israel.

The Department represents clients in the financial sector, including the leading Israeli banks, as part of insolvency proceedings of companies in the fields of construction, infrastructure, retail, industry and high-tech. In that context, the Department provided representation in proceedings related to the Mega and the Blue Square group, the Fishman Group (J.E.C.), debentures of IDB, Kamor, Gaon Holdings, ACE, KAMAN shares in New Pharm, Central Bus Station, Z. Landau, Tal Hayut, the acquisition of Ma'ariv, Masonite, Rav-Bariach and more.

The Department has special expertise in complex arrangements with creditors as incidental to stay of proceeding, and is supported by a highly professional and skilled team. Additionally, the Department specializes in large-scale insolvency proceedings with international aspects. Adv. Matry is occasionally appointed by the courts as a trustee or an office holder in insolvency proceedings and the Department represents various parties in insolvency proceedings, including controlling parties and creditors of various types. 

The Department also represents banks in debt restructuring arrangements (such as the Blue Square restructurings) and provides consultation to banks in connection with the provision of complex credit.
